Overview

The agency deactivation feature allows Super Admins to mark agencies as inactive through the eCourtDate Console. This is useful when an agency is no longer in use, is being consolidated, or needs to be temporarily taken offline.

Reactivate an Agency

  1. Navigate to the eCourtDate Console and log in.
  2. Click Agencies in the Console navigation bar.
  3. Locate the deactivated agency in the list.
  4. Click the Reactivate button to restore the agency.

What to Expect

Once you deactivate an agency, it will be removed from the active agency list immediately. The agency will be marked as inactive and will not be accessible to any of its assigned staff until a Super Admin reactivates it. All data associated with the agency (clients, cases, events) is preserved and will be available again upon reactivation.

Best Practices

  • Confirm with all stakeholders before deactivating an agency to avoid disrupting active workflows.
  • Review any pending cases, scheduled messages, or upcoming events tied to the agency before deactivation.
  • Document the reason for deactivation so other Super Admins understand why the agency was taken offline.
  • Consider reassigning active clients or cases to another agency before deactivating, if applicable.
  • Periodically audit your agency list in the Console to identify agencies that should be deactivated or removed.
