Why Trash/Archive Events?
Trashing or archiving events in eCourtDate allows you to remove events that are no longer valid, active, or replaced by a newer event. Once archived/trashed, the event will no longer schedule messages or be visible on a Portal.
Prerequisites
To trash/archive events, you need an event created. If you don't have an event created, Click Here to Learn How to Create an Event Manually.
How to Trash/Archive Events
Step 1) Locate the event you wish to archive or trash in the events list. Click Here to Learn How to Search for an Event.
Step 2) Click on the event you want to trash or archive.
Step 3) Click the Tools button, then click Archive or Trash.
What to Expect
Once you select the Trash or Archive option, you'll receive an alert message confirming that the event has been trashed or archived.

Answer: You can use the Events search form for the "Trashed Events" or "Archived Events" to find specific events in the respective lists.
Question: Can I undo the trashing or archiving of events?

Question: What is the difference between Archived and Trashed events?
Answer: Archiving events keeps a record while decluttering. You can quickly restore archived events to your active list if needed. Trashing may be permanently deleted after a specific retention period. Choose based on whether you want to keep or delete data. You can update the default settings in the Settings General tab.
